Dr. Megha is a distinguished academic with over 9.9 years of experience in teaching and research. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Languages and Systems at the University of Seville, Spain. She is also an Honorary Adjunct Faculty member at the School of Computing, Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, Kano.
Dr. Megha has held significant roles throughout her career, including Assistant Dean of Research & Consultancy at DIT University, Dehradun, India, and Associate Professor at the same institution. She has also served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science Engineering at Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation, Hyderabad, and as an Assistant Professor at Chitkara University, Punjab.
In addition to her teaching roles, Dr. Megha has contributed extensively to the academic community. She has served as the Faculty In-charge of the Centre of Excellence-AI and Robotics at DIT University and as the Deputy Faculty Advisor of the Research Club. She has been a member of the Board of Research and the Board of Studies for the School of Computing and the Department of Mathematics (School of Physical Sciences) at DIT University. Her contributions also extend to her role as PG Coordinator and member of the Department Academic Affairs Committee (DAAC).
Dr. Megha’s research interests lie in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Knowledge Representation, Knowledge-Based Systems, Rule-Based Systems, Software Product Line, Software Quality, Ontologies, and Healthcare. Her impressive research portfolio includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Thapar University, Patiala, Punjab, where she developed a “Generic Framework for Improving Software Product Line using an Ontological Rule-Based Approach.”
She has a strong academic record, with a Master’s in Engineering from Thapar University and a Bachelor’s in Information Technology from the University Institute of Information Technology, Himachal Pradesh University. Her research work has been recognized with several accolades, and her thesis received an “A” grade from all examiners.
Dr. Megha’s academic contributions extend beyond her research. She has been a member of the Research Progress Assessment Committee (RPAC) at KL University and served as the Course Coordinator for various programs. Additionally, she has been part of the editorial team for the Resnovae Newsletter at Chitkara University, Punjab.
Dr. Megha’s commitment to advancing knowledge in her field is evident through her extensive involvement in academic activities, her publications, and her active participation in research communities.
