Mukund Kulkarni is a seasoned technology professional with over 15 years of progressive experience in cloud engineering, data architecture, full-stack development, and enterprise application modernization. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer in Partnership Tax Technology, Mukund leads the development of scalable, cloud-native solutions that power high-impact tax applications for US-based financial and consulting teams.
Mukund began his professional journey in 2008 as a Software Engineer in Mumbai after earning his Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Mumbai University. Early in his career, he advanced to the role of Lead Developer, specializing in Learning Management Systems (LMS). His core work involved SQL Server, reporting tools, ETL pipelines, and .NET application development.
He later pursued a Master’s degree in Information Technology and Management from the University of Texas at Dallas, which laid the foundation for his transition into enterprise-grade cloud and data platforms. At Huron Consulting Group, he honed his expertise in SharePoint and .NET development, delivering automation solutions for ticketing and intake processes in the Legal division.
Mukund’s next chapter was marked by a significant shift into Tax Technology. As a Senior ETL Developer, he designed and implemented end-to-end data pipelines and later transitioned into full-stack and cloud development roles. He was instrumental in architecting Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) solutions and building high-performance ETL workflows on Microsoft Azure.
